Syntax of Orhan Seyfi Orhon's book titled "Şiirler (Poems)"

Like societies, people are caught by their tongues. In this study, it is aimed to catch the poet's individual style based on the syntax. Orhan Seyfi Orhon's life, intellectual and literary personality, his works, the most used themes in his works, phrases and features, information about sentence and sentence elements, and finally, sentence analysis and phrase analysis of 128 poems belonging to the poet. The study was basically carried out with the method of literature review. As a result of the scans, the aspects of the poet that remained in the background were investigated and the views of many grammarians on the subject were determined. A total of 1669 words with verbs and 820 words with nouns have been identified. However, many numerical data were obtained. As a result of the study, it has been understood that the poet has an active poetic language due to his heavy use of action sentences.
