İn theresearch, in which emphasis is given to interrelation of education-art-psychologyqualitative and quantitative research techniques have been used. İt is known thatmany musicians get together to make music and in the end reach a whole andcompose an orchestral spirit. Conductor has an important role building this spirit.That conductor who in away educates and leads the orchestra with his knowledge,talent and experience, has an educational side is shown by the research.The performance and psychologic effects of the conductors educationalapproach appeare be the measures. The concept of orchestral psychology in thisresearch is studied in the context of social psychology and working psychology.İn the research opinion of professional conductors are taken. Also factors thateffects the psychology of orchestra in a negative-positive way, psychology oforchestra, expectations of conductors and performers from each other,communication and motivation are tried to be explained with three measures appliedto three symphonic orchestra.According to specialist conductors statements, orchestral conductors has aneducational side. Morover, conductor must know psychology, group psychology.According to performer statements that the conductor has an educational side affectsthe psychology of the orchestra and the performance positively.
