Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the approximation of functions by trigonometric polynomials in Orlicz spaces is investigated. The estimation between the Fejér sums of Fourier series with conjugate functions in weighted Orlicz spaces is obtained. In addition, the direct theorem of approximation theory regarding the approximation of functions belonging to Smirnov-Orlicz classes by rational functions in doubly connected domains bounded by simple curves in the complex plane is proved.
