The differentation of housing/housing area demand of industrial employee in the middle scaled city-Example Kayseri city

Middle-scaled city which have both public industrilization experience and have cheap and skilled labour potantial and which called as new industrilization centers show difference from large-scaled city about the demand of the formation of housing and living environment as one of the the main subject of reproduction of work. Also housing areas developing with industrilization met the housing need of industrial labour in the general industrilization process of middle-scaled city, the interrogation of appropriateness of it for industrial employee?s housing and housing area demand and preference deal with in the context of this thesis. Determined the demand of the housing/housing area characteristics of industrial employee according to their preference and behaviour attributes. In this context, the main contribution of this thesis is, the examination of general housing preferences and demands in the industrial sector labour and according to this put forward the relation between employee profile and housing. This study determines the following way, according to the industry location and industrial employee?s demand and preferences in the context of industry-housing, relation related to the location of industry, by using the indicators of housing area planning and the parameters of location. The differentations between the main indicators those determined the demand of housing/housing area materialize in the adaptation process of existent housing, in the selecting process of another housing in the existent housing area and in the selecting process of a new area location. Arrival of housing area-working area, urban life quality, differentations of income and socal statute determine the housing/housing are demand. Differentations of occupation specialization create the urban region sequence at housing area selections. Employee?s behaviour forms show difference according to their different statutes in the context of of urban quality, culture and income.In this thesis with the obtaining datas in the Kayseri private reached that result; the spatial tendency/preferences of industrial employee and different behavior forms of them according to the their different specialization are determinative in the formation of living environment and must evaluate in the planning processes.
