Middle Fırat region Calcolithic period housing architecture

In the settlements of the Chalcolithic Age in the Middle Euphrates region, many findings that shed light on the Chalcolithic Age were unearthed. Thanks to the archaeological excavations of the Chalcolithic Period in the Middle Euphrates region, many settlements belonging to the period have been identified. Within the scope of this thesis, the similarities and differences of the houses in the region with the houses in other regions, the material properties used in the houses, the relationship of the Chalcolithic Age houses in the Middle Euphrates region with the region were investigated and evaluated in different dimensions. It opened the way to explore the settlements in the Middle Euphrates Region by providing a comprehensive research opportunity. The scope of the thesis, especially the development of Halaf, Ubeyd and Uruk residential architecture in the Chalcolithic Age, and what kind of characteristics it showed in terms of the region, and the architectural texture of the region was tried to be explained. The architectural elements obtained in the mounds in the Middle Euphrates region will be discussed and examined in terms of the residential architecture of the period.
