Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship between economic growth and education for Turkey, Brazil and Mexico has been investigated through the middle income trap issue. Turkey, Brazil and Mexico are among the major countries that are caught in the middle income trap. Within this scope, it is seen that the countries that escaped from the middle income trap have a growth model based on R&D and innovation. Based on this approach economic growth and education relationship would be set up for Turkey, Brazil and Mexico, this fact would be analyzed by using GDP per capita income and manufacturing, savings and education data. In the process of getting rid of the middle-income trap, we tried to estimate the relationship between Turkey, Mexico and Brazil's GDP per capita income education, manufacturing and saving data. In this context, in this study, data from 1990 to 2015 were analyzed for each three countries and the results were tried to be estimated by using VAR model.
