Geographical analysis of the crimes commited against the people in the rurals of the Orta district

This study aims to investigate the crimes against people between the years of 2012-2016 with a geographical approach. In this context, the previous researches about the subject were examined and the theoretical part of the study was developed with the information obtained. Afterwards, the Middle District of the Middle District was determined as a study area and geographically examined the physical and human geography characteristics of the region. The findings were evaluated together with the results of the observations in the visits to the study area and the relationship between the geographic characteristics and the crime of the rural district of Orta. As a result of the study, it was determined that geographical characteristics of Orta district rural areas are one of the important factors in the occurrence of crimes.
