Turkish life style in the folk songs of middle black sea region

Folk songs, the product of verbal culture, are engaged with human and with all values getting humans occur. In folk songs, which include cultural codes of the society, have a symbolic language. In that work, scanning the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd binders of TRT Turkish Folk Song Anthology of Oral Works, it was examined culturally that there are 275 folk songs in total, 9 of these stated common in Black Sea Region and 266 of them are belonged to the provinces of Middle Black Sea Region; Samsun, Amasya, Çorum, Tokat and Ordu, and additionally, it was studied the cultivation of cultural elements and cultural transmission processes. It was researched literally about the topic examined and the sources were analyzed and commented and as a result of the facts obtained, the work was completed as 13 chapters. The aim of the thesis is to resolve the lack of any work which gathers the folk songs in Middle Black Sea Region and reflects the Turkish life stlye placed in these songs till now. Thanks to that work, as well as examined the cultural elements in the folk songs gathered from the region, it was reflected how people live in that region. Moreover, it was analyzed how cultural diversity of the region was reflected to the songs and how the culture was transmissed by folk songs in the context of verbal culture with the help of that work.
