Abstract (EN)
The Middle East which is the earliest settlement of humans, has witnessed many unsettling events for centuries due to its plenty of characteristics such as its geography, history, rich culture and economic values. This region which has always been in the spotlight is subject to a new change cycle nowadays. This new process, disrupting the balances, and bringing about many issues whose results are unknown, will seal the fate of the Middle East.This study, in which the recently encountered events in the Middle East were analyzed, discussed the concept of Middle East by looking at the region from a broad perspective and transferred the dynamics of the region. Following these data, some researches were carried out about the countries important in the region and sharing the leading role in the events. A background concerning the basis of these events was presented with this information obtained.In the sense of this theoretical perspective, the change and transformation cycle that the Middle East has been experiencing were analyzed separately on the basis of countries and some statements were made about the conjuncture that came up. Finally, Turkey policies in the face of these events were discussed as it is an important country in the region and an answer were sought for the question of ?Can Turkey be a model as a democratic country in the Middle East??, which has a critical importance in the discussions about the future of the Middle East.Key Words: Arab Spring, Middle East, Foreign Policy, Turkey, Orientalism, Administration
