Özet (EN)

Landslides are one of the most commonly observed types of mass movement among natural disasters that occur today, causing significant loss of life and property. Landslides occur widely in our country, especially in the Black Sea Region. Sufficient and effective solutions should be produced in order to minimize the impact caused by the formation of landslides. In this study, it is aimed to carry out landslide susceptibility assessment based on Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and probabilistic method of Ortahisar (Trabzon) district. In this context, 1: 25.000 scaled general geology map of Ortahisar district was obtained from Mineral Research and Exploration Institute (MTA) General Directorate, and stratigraphic sequence of rocks showing outcrop was checked. inventory map of landslides observed in the area again 1: 25.000 as the General Directorate of Turkey were obtained from the MTA Landslide Inventory Map. Maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) method was used to evaluate the areal statistics of the landslides observed in the field. In this method, the coefficient of double pareto (DP), double pareto simplified (DPS) and inverse gamma (IG) distributions and their probability density graphs were determined and compared with each other. Frequency ratio (FR) and entropy index (EE) methods were used to produce landslide susceptibility maps in the study area. In these sensitivity maps; Five different sensitivity classes have been identified as very high, high, medium, low and very low sensitivity. The accuracy evaluations of the produced landslide susceptibility maps were made and the efficiency status was examined by comparing them with each other.
