Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of the concept map supported education on the achievement of the students in biology. The sample of this study consists of 72 students, who are in 9. grade at Borçka Şehit Savaş Gedik High School of Borçka district. One of the 9. grade classes was used as the experimental group and the other one was used as the control group. The equality of the groups was determined by the results of some success pre-tests. The research was carried out twelve weeks. The control group studied with conventional methods and the experimental group studied with the method supported by concept map. Achievment Test has been used in this study for data gathering and the attitude scale of biology lesson and T-test has been used to evaluate the hypothesis. It has been observed by the statistical analysis, that there is a significant difference between the control and experimental group according to results of the achievement post test.
