Abstract (EN)

The society we live in is a display society. The changes and transformations in the historical process have been effective in the emergence of the exhibition society. At the beginning of these changes are modernization, industrialization, urbanization, democracy, globalization, postmodernism, and the development of communication technology. Young people are the segment that is most affected by the changes in society and adapts easily to them. Young people's use of technology is intensifying in the secondary education generation, and accordingly, display behaviors have become widespread. For this reason, the dimensions of exhibitionism in secondary school youth in the context of social networks were examined and the psychological and socio-cultural reasons underlying it were investigated. At the same time, attention was drawn to the problems caused by exhibitionism. This research was carried out by applying in-depth interview technique with 32 students studying in Konya within the scope of qualitative method. In line with the data obtained, it was concluded that the changes and transformations in the society, and especially the widespread use of technology, affect the display attitudes of young people.
