Studying socio-economic structure of students who attend leisure sportive aktivities at secondary schools (studies in Giresun and Trabzon cities)

In this study, States of socio ? economic properties of students joined sportive activities which are out of lessson for Giresun and Trabzon have been determined and evaluated with compared with both cities The population of this study has been formed of high school studens study in the center of Giresun and Trabzon. The illustrate of this study has been constituted with students joined sportive activites in seven each high scholl having same properties in Trabzon and Giresun.The questionnaire form have been used in this study. 280 students in Giresun and 320 students in Trabzon have joined to this study. In order to evaluate the data, the frequencies and the percentages were determined. The connection of datas with eachothers have been tested via chi-square scale. All analaysis have been processed with the software called SPPS 13.0.According to the research?s results;Most of students have defined their parents income is middle in Trabzon and Giresun. The students where live Giresun define their parents income lower ratio is bigger. When we look students pocket money and their parents income live in Trabzon, it seems students economical situation living in Trabzon are better than students living in Giresun. In both cities, boys prefer to join those sportive activities. Prefer of students show that football, voleyball and basketball is more preferable than the other sportive branches. Football is the most preferable sportive branch in Trabzon and voleyball is the most preferable sportive branch in Giresun. As a result, students having university degree parents prefer football in Trabzon and also students living in Giresun prefer basketball. In both citiese their parents support their childs to join sportive activities.
