Abstract (EN)

In this research, the ability of middle school teachers to use instructional technologies and their skills to use materials were evaluated. The structure of the research was defined as descriptive and scanning method was used. The study population was chosen to be middle school teachers employed in Ministry of National Education, Afyonkarahisar Provincial National Education Directorate between 2012 -2013. The samples were chosen by exampling method from the population. Data gathering were carried out by a poll questionnaire shown in the literature named as ?Öğretim Teknolojileri ve Materyal Tasarım Becerileri?. The analysis of the data were done by means of frequency and percentages, mean value, standard deviation, independent samples t-test, one way ANOVA, and open-ended questions were held also content analysis. According to the results of research on the gender variable the use of whiteboards and tablet computers has emerged in favour of men than womens. According to the seniority variable, the teachers with less period of service used the computer and internet technologies better. According to level of education, the graduate teachers had better perception of mind than undergraduates. The branch of job did not yield significant differences between subjects.
