Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is, to analize the acceptance degrees of attitude dimensions ofleadership standarts which were developed to use in appointment, election and assesment ofschool principals process in U.S.A by Turkish educators.This dissertation consists of seven chapters. In the first chapter, the importance of the researchis given. In the second chapter, theories of leadership are examined.In the third chapter, educational management and school management subjects are studied. Inthe fourth chapter, theories of attitude and attitude measurability are reviewed.In the fifth chapter, the aim, importance and the model of the survey are given and in addition,the results and the tables of the analysis of the data are shown by the assistance of SPSSprogramme.The sixth chapter consists of the results and the suggestions in order to improve the currentsituation.Key words: Leadership, educational management, school management, attitude, acceptancedegrees.
