Abstract (EN)

This study called ?Pictogram Education for The Students Studying Art in an interactive CD environment? aimed to increase the quality of eudcation materials which is appropriate for the flourishing technology and to prepare a CD for the purpose of using on pictogram education in interactive enviroment by forming a sample education material.In National Education Council gathered in 1993, generalizing the Computer Supported Teaching all over the country, providing the necessary supply fort he students to learn how to use a computer, are decided to carry out in that meeting. One of the important factors on fertilizing the computer usage is software. But in our country educational software hasnt developed so much.. This researc became a master topic with the aim of student?s getting the objective behaviours as visual and auditory, making the students learn withing the freedom of making mistakes and correcting them. Interactive enviroments because of their characteristic including the special feature such as colour, motion, sound, etc?make the user constantly focus on the data, shorten the learning duration, save the teaching being devoted to time and place..Colour selection, activity and placement on screen of the visuals used in interactive education software increase the prime time of the CD. Selection of the writing fonts which is one of the tipograik elements, and it?s intensity and color provide proceeding the educational software. Colour regulation of the main page, form, area, accurate accommodatiton of the element such as writing, visuals with music increase the attraction of the attention.Because of having an instruction for the users in interactive education software, it clears off the problems and misunderstanding which can be occured using sofrware. Buttons used in the education software and its sound effect, simplicity dont cause losing attention on users.İn this study all stages of preparing an effective interactive has been determined and with these stages an interactive CD has been prepared. Primarily targets and target behaviour , related to the topic, was determined and a content aimed at determined behaviour was prepared. According to the criteria, main page, instruction, screen design and evaluation question has been arranged.For the purpose of evaluation of the prepared interactive Cd, a measure has been prepared by an expert group and the measure performed to 10 experts, 10 graffic teachers, 10 students studying graffic arts at random.A questionnaire related to education software has been performed by 3 groups. The questionnaire consist of 6 chapter. In the first chapter questions about motivation activities, in the second chapter quesitons about main page, in the third chapter presentation of the targets, in the fourth chapter questions about Cd instructions, instruction buttons, in the fifth chapter questions about screen design and content and in the last chapter questions about evaluation has taken place.Groups has been watched all chapter and a questionarre applied by the researcher. Finally according to the data obtained, nearly all of teachers and students has marked the choice ? very good? and many of the experts has marked the choice ?very good?.Pictogram which is an important topic of the graphic and come in to our life more day by day, must be encourageed and pictogram topic must be discussed fort he students studying art education. Education with interactive CD must be given importance and Cds must be prepared for the all the topics on graphic. By copying this software must be generalized within cooperation with the National Education Ministry and its institutions. It is advised that this software should be used and developed by the people who are concern with the educational topics, interested in graphic and graphic agency.
