Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate teachers and students opinion about homework in high schools mathematic lessons. The literature review was made at the beginning of this research. In order to collect data a survey was used for evaluate teachers and students opinion about homework. In addition to this, an interview was made with ten teachers about homework. These teachers was choosen randomly. The survey contains two parts. First part of this survey is about personal information. Second part of survey contains questions about homework. In this research the survey was carried out schools in Ankara and with 50 teachers, 10 interviewied teachers and 200 students. To analyze data, SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) program was used on computer. Frequencies and percentages were calculated according to the students? responces to this survey. To analyze unnumbered data was made content analyze. In this survey was given findings in two ranks. 1. Students opinion about homework and teachers? homework stratejies. 2. Teachers? homework stratejies and opinion about homework.
