Evaluation of teachers' and students' attitude towards Turkish literature lesson: The example of Taşköprü

In this study called ?Evaluation of Teachers? and Students? Attitude Towards Turkish Literature Lesson? it is aimed to identify the interest level to Turkish literature lesson by teachers and student in Taskopru town and identify whether their interests are undergone a change due to some descriptive features. In the research it is tried to find out the result by using modern statistical methods.The search composes secondary education institutions in Taskopru town in Kastamonu (Turkey). Research consists of 122 teachers and 1728 students in Taskopru Highschool, Taskopru Anatolian Highschool, Taskopru Health Highschool, Mustafa Sıtkı Boys? Technical Highschool, Sevim Tokatlı Girls? Technical and Vocational Highschool, Taskopru Anatolian Teacher Highschool. The sample of the research consists of 1207 students and 75 teachers. Statics in this research have been gathered by questionnaire prepared separatly for teachers and students. In the first part of the research there have been questiones defining characteristics of the participants? such as their age, sexuality etc. , in the second part of it there has been attitude scale to determine their approach to Turkish literature lesson.The data has been analyzed through SPSS17.0 (StatisticPackageForSocialScience) statics programme. The research has been done by using scanning model.In the opening part/prologue, the aim of the research, its importance and limits, its assumptions has been presented. The definiton of literature in conceptual framework, the function of literature and Turkish literature lesson, attitude concept and structure of the attitude have been mentioned. In the method part, research model used in this research has been included, participants? list has been presented, and also data gathering techniques and decoding of them have been included. There have ben suggestions about the values found out by analyzing given data and what can be done to upgrade positive attitudes to Turkish literature lesson by highschool students.Key Words : Turkish literature, Turkish literature lesson, the attitude towards Turkish literature lesson, attitude, curriculum, analysis, Kastamonu, questionnaire
