Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the views of students studying in secondary education regarding the use of augmented reality technology in education. In this direction, 106 students who were in 9, 10, 11 and 12 classes who studied at Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Gril Anatolian imam orator high school in Van Gürpınar District were surveyed and 13 students were given a semi-structured interview form. Based on the findings determined by analyzing and interpreting the data obtained, the results of the research were determined and the recommendations were prepared. As a result of the research, secondary school students facilitated learning about augmented reality technology, helped to embody abstract issues that are difficult to understand in daily life, and said that they will have benefits such as easily eliminating deficiencies by making it easier for them to learn meaningful learning, interest in the course because learning environments where there is increased reality can actively learn, and to eliminate deficiencies by making it easier to review the information quickly.
