Design of a new unit for the secondary education history 2 course books ? The Tanzimat Period ?

This research work has been conducted for examining the effect of the unit by keeping the visuality in the forefront in the light of contemporary methods and techniques pertaining to the subject of Design of a New Unit For the Secondary Education History 2 Course Books ? The Tanzimat Period ?.The questionnaire has been made in the research that has been performed on 36 students who are being educated in the Ankara Province Ayaş County Naime Ali Karataş Multiple Program High School pertaining to their attitudes towards the History Course. The success levels have been measured on the students that have been selected among two different classes where these were the control and the experimentation groups by using the SPSS 15 statistical package program by applying the preliminary test before the unit has been told and by applying the final test after the unit has been told.A meaningful difference has been found out in favor of the experimentation group of students among the success levels of the experimentation group of students that conduct their education where the subject of ? The Tanzimat Period ? that take place in the Secondary Education History 2 Course Books that have been designed with the contemporary methods and techniques and the control group of students that conduct their education with the existing Course Books.Keywords: History, Textbook, Education, Teaching, Constructivist Approach,
