Culture transfer by folk poetry textes that take place in secondary education Turkish literature course books

The reason of this study is to analyse folk poetry in terms of tranmission that taught in Turkish literature course boks at secondry schools in 2014-2015 education year by Ministry of Nation Education. There fore, 9., 10., 11. and 12. Grade Turkish literature course boks, Ministry of Nation Education publications will be analyzed. This study that carries out determining cultural transmission of folk poetry at 9. and 10. grade Turkish literature course boks does document review which is a qualitative research method. Inductive analysis method is used fort he data analysis. In this descriptive study, it is scanned 9., 10., 11., and 12. Grade Turkish literature course boks, Ministry of National Education publications. It is confirmed that folk poetry has been in just 9. and 10. Grade Turkish literature course boks. At this study, first of all sources of folk poetry are scannad. Types of folk poetry dissections are analyzed. At the 9. and 10. grade Turkish literature course boks, material and spirituel cultural elements, idioms and proverbs are found whic has been already in folk poetry. According to results of survey, it has been seen that culturel transmission with poetry aims at national value assimilation in teaching of spiritual and material cultural elements, idioms and proverbs. In this regard, it is possible to evaluate the education dimension of the cultural transmission formaterialand sprirtual support, idioms and proverbs as a way of fulfillingthe sefunctions.
