Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the scamper technique used in reproduction and growth in plants and animals in sixth grade science class. Semi-experimental method was used in the research and achievement test and semi-structured interview were applied to the students. The study was carried out on 70 students who were 6th grade students in Middle School of Murat Girls Boarding District in Ağrı in the academic year of 2015-2016. The classroom control group in which the course is taught in the direction of the curriculum of the 6th grade Science course forms the classroom experiment group in which the scamper technique is used together with the curriculum. Plant and Animal Reproduction, Growth and Development Success Test was used as a data collection tool. The 5 semi-structured interview questions developed by the researcher were conducted to 8 students in PARGD order to determine the problems, difficulties and feelings of the students. Findings obtained as a result of the research; It can be said that there is a significant difference of 0.000 between the final test scores of the experimental and control groups and that the increase observed in the scores of the children in the experimental group has increased the success of the student in the scamper technique.
