Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this research study is to examine the science course exam anxiety, psychological resilience levels and decision-making skills of secondary school 7th and 8th grade students. The population of the research consists of 7th and 8th grade students registered in the official secondary schools affiliated to the Directorate of National Education of the Düziçi District of Osmaniye Province in the 2020-2021 academic year. The sample of the study consists of 349 randomly selected students who continue their education at "Düziçi İstiklal Secondary School", "Düzüçi Secondary School", "İrfanlı Secondary School" and "Tunaboylu Secondary School" located in Düziçi district. In this study, Friedben Test Anxiety Scale, Adolescent Resilience Scale (EPRS) and Adolescent Decision-Making Scale (EPRS) were used as data collection tools. In the study, t-test was used to reveal the significant difference between the means of two variables, and one-way Analysis of Variance was used to reveal the significant difference between the means of more than two variables. As a result of the research, it was determined that the science lesson exam anxiety levels and decision-making levels of secondary school students were above the average. It was determined that the psychological resilience levels of the students were lower than the average. Key words: Science Education, Decision Making, Resilience, Exam Anxiety
