Abstract (EN)

This study is conducted on the purpose of determining the 8 th Grades Middle School Students' views about technology and values. While gathering data, interview technigue whichis one of gualitative research method, is used. This studyt was carried out with 8th Grades Students (P=15) of Dereli Religious Vocational in the Dereli District of Giresun Prounicial in 2015-2016 Education Year. As data connection tool; "Feedbacks form on Techology and Vaule (TDÜGF)" developed by researcher and a field specialist is used as data collection tool. Before application, a pilot study is done with 2 girl and 2 boy participants (P=4) on observing the comprehensibleness of guestions. After application, it is conuinced that the guestion presented at the "Feedbacks form on Techology and Vaule (TDÜGF)," are comprehensible and the ultimate from is constituted. The major survey is specified with criterion sampling. Data is analysed by using content analysis method. On obtained findings, when the views about the relation between technology and values; there is participants who thinks they effect each other. Specially, while the participants commenting the technology – values relation, it take attention that their mostly view is technology affects the values. The outcames showed up that; the online games, social media, television, telephone, smart board affect positively on the other hand. The same technology can affect negatively the values like love, respect and diligence. About the relation between technology and value, with the regard of success average, participants started similar opinions, it is seen that girl participants interprets the relation better than boy participants.
