Descriptive analyzes and ANOVA tests were carried out with the data obtained in the study of determining student attitudes, using SPSS 23.0 and LISREL package programs. With the findings obtained as a result of the analyzes, it was determined that the educational design of the secondary school science textbooks should be improved in terms of content arrangement strategies, teaching learning methods and assessment and evaluation competencies in line with the opinions of secondary school science teachers. In addition, it was concluded that student attitudes towards secondary school science textbooks differ according to student grade levels.
