Özet (EN)

Daha sonra doldurulacaktır.The aim of this study is to examine the types of representations and transitions between representations in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade 'Exponents' subject content of Morpa Kampüs educational software, which is open to the use of secondary school mathematics textbooks and teachers. The study is a qualitative research and the representations in each source and the transitions between representations in the questions were analysed using document analysis. In the study, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade mathematics textbooks published or approved by the Ministry of National Education and Morpa Kampüs educational software course contents on 'Exponents' were used as data sources. In the study, representations on the subject of exponential numbers and transitions between representations were determined by using algebraic, verbal, model, table, graphic and real-life representations classified in previous studies. As a result of the research, it was determined that algebraic representations were the most commonly used representation type at all grade levels in both types of resources related to textbooks and educational software. Again, in both resource types, it was determined that verbal representations were the most used representation type after algebraic representations at all grade levels. It has been observed that models, tables and real-life representations are included very little in both the textbooks and the Morpa Campus educational software, and graphic representation is not included at all. When the results regarding the transitions between representations were examined, it was determined that the transition between algebraic question and algebraic solution representations was used most in both resource types at all grade levels. It has been observed that the usage rate of the transition between algebraic question - algebraic solution representations is 37.5% in the 5th grade textbook, and varies between 56.1% and 88.5% in other sources. It was determined that the second most used transition between representations was between verbal question and algebraic solution representations, and this transition was observed to be at most 31.3%. While it was observed that transitions between other representations were used at a very low rate, it was observed that real life question - algebraic solution transitions between representations were used in both resource types, albeit to a small extent, at all grade levels. It has been determined that transitions between some representations, such as graphics, are not used at all. Finally, it was observed that the textbook was richer in the 5th and 8th grades and the Morpa Campus educational software was richer in the 6th grade in terms of diversity of transitions between representations, and both resources were equal in terms of diversity of representations in the 7th grade. It was determined that transitions between representations were used most at the 8th grade level in both types of sources.
