Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to determine cyberbullying / cyber victimization and internet aggression levels in secondary school students in Zonguldak. This research was a descriptive study and was conducted by relational screening method. In 2017-2018 academic year, 872 of 1400 students in the 6th and 7th grades in three secondary schools in Zonguldak Province were reached. Personal information form with 13 different questions and "Cyber Bullying Scale "and" Cyber Victim Scale" was used for the students. Mann Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis test were used for data analysis. According to the findings of the study; 68% of the students in 12-13 age group who participated, 51.8% girls, 48.2% men, 84.9% of families belonged to middle class income, 36.7% of mothers and fathers 38.9% of high school graduates. 79.72% of the students in the study were social media users. In the analysis, cyber bullying is higher in males. While cyber bullying increases as age increases, cyber victimization increases as age decreases. In addition, cyber bullying is increasing in the children of low-income families, while cyber victimization decreases in the children with an associate degree and a university education level. It was found that students who use the internet for the purpose of meeting the internet, using the internet for research and homework are more cyber bullies than those who do not enter the internet. As a result; training should be organized in which the concepts of cyber bullying and victimization are explained. Key Words: Cyber bullying, Cyber victimization, Cyber aggression
