Abstract (EN)

Environmental problems are one of the most important vital problems of our time. Educational activities related to environmental problems in the early stages can be seen as an important factor in the elimination of future environmental problems. For this reason, it is important to determine the students' views on the environment and environmental problems and to make initiatives to handle the problems. In this study, a questionnaire about the environment and environmental problems of the international comparison study named ROSE was used. In this study, data were collected from 450 students attending 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade. The findings of the study revealed that students are generally sensitive to environmental and environmental problems, opinions about environmental and environmental problems make a significant difference according to gender and there are no significant differences according to class levels. According to the results obtained, suggestions were made about what kind of arrangements should be made for the issues related to environment and environmental problem.
