The investigation of secondary school students' attitudes and behaviors to the environment in accordance with variables

The aim of this research is to determine the attitudes and behaviors of secondary school students towards the environment in accordance with variables . (such as socioeconomic level, academic achievement level, place of living (village, town, city center, etc.), school type, class level, parent's education level.) The aim of this study is to compile these results by examining the changes in the attitudes and behaviors of the students in line with the level of the students' thesis and article studies. This research, which aims to evaluate the environmental awareness, attitudes and behaviors of secondary school students studying in Turkey in line with today's variables, taking into account the importance they attach to environmental awareness, and to determine the factors affecting environmental awareness of secondary school students, were carried out with some scientific methods in the literature. In the research, articles and theses written on this subject were used as data collection tools. The methods and techniques used to collect the data in these articles and theses are the methods and techniques that will yield results suitable for the purpose of the research. The situation of secondary school students studying in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades in Turkey were examined by considering some variables. When we examine the attitudes and behaviors of secondary school students studying in Turkey in terms of variables, significant differences have been observed in gender, academic achievement level, family factor, school type, place of life and socioeconomic levels. There was no significant difference between the class level and the education level of parents. It has been determined that there is a significant relationship between environmental knowledge and attitudes towards the environment in students. In order for environmental attitudes and behaviors to produce positive and more positive results in students and to make these results have more positive results in the future, reviewing the lessons or the subjects related to environmental education in their curriculum, following the lessons with activities and practical activities will raise awareness and awareness about environmental education.It has revealed the result and recommendations of making environmental lessons again in a dimension that will be given by environmentally sensitive teachers and away from other lesson subjects.
