Özet (EN)

This research covers the effects of the lesson and applications taught with cartoon techniques on various variables. Mixed research method, in which qualitative and quantitative methods are used together, was used in the research. Within the scope of the study, 4 weeks, 8 hours of training was given to secondary school students about the determined cartoon production technique. 23 students participated in the application. The students participating in the application were asked to choose a topic they wanted within the scope of a course they chose. The students designed the cartoon processes related to the topics they chose with cartoon techniques. After the students completed the application stages, the computer attitude scale, the instructional materials motivation questionnaire and the semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher were applied. The answers given to the computer attitude scale and instructional materials motivation questionnaire were analyzed by performing the Spps program Normality tests and using the Independent Sample T test, which is a parametric test. The answers of the semi-structured interview form were analyzed by descriptive analysis. According to the analyzed results, no significant difference was found in the computer attitudes and motivations of the students according to their gender and computer ownership (p >0,05). When the answers given to the semi-structured interview form were analyzed, it was determined that the training and the application-oriented process contributed positively to the students' excitement, happiness, success, pride and increase in digital knowledge.
