Investigation of physical education course sportmen behavior of middle school students (Düzce city example)

The purpose of this study is to examine the sportsmanship behavior of middle school students. The population of the study consisted of 5826 students in 9 secondary schools in Düzce in the 2017-2018 academic year, and the sample group consisted of 1700 volunteer students in 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade randomly selected. Personal data form and Physical Education Course sportsmanship behavior scale (BESDÖ) is included as a data collection tool. In the present study, the Independent-samples t-test was used to compare the two groups and the one-way ANOVA was used to compare the two groups and the LSD analysis was applied to the POCT Hock tests to look at the statistical difference between the groups. P < 0.05 was used in the evaluation of the data. In this study, there was a statistically significant difference between the female gender and the female gender subscale (p<0.001). According to the level of Grade 5 in the GT BESDÖ points and 6. in grades 5. in favor of classes; 5. and 7. between 5 classes.in favor of classes; 5. and 8. between 5.classes statistical difference was found in favor of the classes (p<0.001). UDS sub-size scores according to 5. and 7. Grades 5.in favor of classes; 5. and 8. grades 5. in favor of the classes; 6.and 7.between 6 classes. statistical difference was found in favor of the class (p<0.01). The UDK subscale is based on the scores 5. and 6. between 5.classes in favor of classes; 5. and 7. between 5 classes. in favor of classes; 5. and 8. between 5.classes there was a significant difference in favor of the class (p<0.001). Statistical difference was found in favor of licensed athletes in UDS (p<0.05) and UD subscales (p<0.001) according to the athletes ' athletic status (p < 0.001). According to the number of brothers UDS sub-size and two brothers among those who do not have siblings in favor of those who do not; there was a statistically significant difference between those with one sibling and those with two sibling (p<0.05). Mom, dad, any statistical difference according to their educational status was found (p>0.05). It can be said that gender, class level, licensed sports, and sister number affects the behavior of sportsmanship.
