The predictive role of organizational justice and in to quit on secondary school teachers psychologi̇cal health

The aim of the study is to reveal the predictive role of organizational justice perception and intention to quit variables on psychological stability levels of secondary school teachers. It is a descriptive correlational study. The population of the research consisted of teachers working in the secondary schools in the Upper Kızılırmak Department of the Central Anatolia Region. The study sample is 300 teachers from 15 different secondary schools in Sivas city center, selected through the appropriate sampling method. The remaining 245 sets formed the data set after the screening process for unfit data from out of 300 returned forms. Personal Data Form, Brief Psychological Health Scale, Organizational Justice Scale and Intention to Leave Scale were used as data collection tools in this study. SPSS 22 was used for multiple regression analysis. The result indicated that organizational just ice perception was positively related to teachers psychological resilience while intention to quit was negatively related. It was found that teachers' perceptions of organizational justice and intention to quit predicted their psychological strength. The findings indicate that the teachers who have high perception of organizational justice have high level of psychological resilience and those who have low intention to quit have high level of psychological resilience. The results were discussed and suggestions were developed within the scope of the literature.
