Abstract (EN)

In this study, to determine the organizational stress and organizational belonging levels of secondary school teachers during the pandemic process; It aims to show the relationship between organizational stress and organizational belonging levels and to shed light on the educational periods that will be formed or transformed by the impact of possible negative conditions in the coming years. The survey model, which is a quantitative research method that aims to evaluate the organizational stress perceptions and professional belonging feelings of permanent, contracted and paid teachers, was used in the research. This research includes secondary school teachers in the province of Istanbul, who have spent the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 academic years. As a data collection tool in the research, an information form prepared via Google form was sent to 387 teachers and feedback was provided. The data in the research; Personal information was obtained from the Organizational Stress Scale and the Professional Belonging Scale. Various analyzes were made after the obtained data met the necessary analysis conditions. After the demographic distribution data, distribution for the perception of organizational stress, distribution for the perception of professional belonging, descriptive statistics of the scale score, correlation analysis, regression analysis and differentiation analyze were performed. According to the results of the research, it was concluded that organizational stress positively affected the professional belonging, and the existence of organizational stress in the change of professional belonging, the positive and constructive work environment increased the professional belonging, the human-centered nature of the workplace positively affected the professional belonging, and the profession's requirement for expertise affected the professional belonging negatively. In addition, it was determined that 38% of the change in professional belonging was explained by organizational sub-dimensions.
