The element of conflict in fictional texts used in the secondary school turkish lessons

The main purpose of the study is to analyse the conflict item in the fiction texts that are used in the elemantry school Turkish books, to prove the quality of the conflict item and to what extent it is included in the direction of the gains, texts, activities in this context, in the study, the course books and work books published by MEB (the ministry of national education) that are taught of 5th, 6th, 7th grades in 2013- 2014 academic year- and the texts, activities in 8th grade's Turkish course book and work book- that are taught in 2012- 2013 academic year- are examined conflict ariented within the frame of parallelism with the gains. The qualitative study method is used in the research. Accordingly, texts are analysed based upon document scanning. Key Words: Turkish Education, Fiction Texts, Conflict.
