Investigating recreational awareness perception levels of secondary school administrators (Case of Batman province)

Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the perception levels of institutional managers' recreational awareness about institution employees in secondary schools. Workplace Recreation Awareness Perception Scale (WRAPS) was used (15 items) in the study. After the questionnaire was applied to 197 School administrators and Vice principals in secondary schools in Batman province, KMO. (0.919) test was applied to identify the sufficiency of data obtained from the sample. Cronbach Alfa values for reliability for two subdimensions were calculated as 0.941 for Personal Flexibility and Social Cohesion and 0.862 for Corporate Awareness and Development, respectively. Kruskal Wallis and Mann Whitney U non-parametric tests were used to analyze the data obtained. When awareness levels of secondary school administrators working in Batman province are examined, it has been found that awareness levels of secondary school administrators on teachers participating in recreational activities are high in both dimensions (p> 0.05).
