2. ABSTRACT The Effect of Positive Management Approaches of School Administrators who Work in Secondary Schools on Student Success Positive psychology is an approach that aims to beautify and give meaning to human life, to develop their abilities and to emphasize the strong and positive characteristics of people. Personally, the positive characteristics of people are examined. These; liking, courage, social relations, aesthetic sensitivity, persistence, forgiveness, originality, forward-thinking, spirituality and natural talent. Positive management is to direct our attention from negative to positive, from positive to more positive and constructive. A manager who adopts a positive management approach, instead of dealing with unnecessary tides, deals with the solution of the problem. Positive Management should look at the positive side of events in every situation of a person. He should understand that we can solve the causes, not the problems. In this study, based on teachers' perceptions and convictions, the relationship between positive management understanding in secondary schools and the aim of revealing the effect on school success is a descriptive search model. The universe of this research is composed of teachers working in primary school in Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Siirt, Adıyaman, Van province in 2017 - 2018 academic year. The sample of the study consists of 327 teachers working in the same region and education period. The data obtained as a result of the application of the questionnaire were analyzed in SPSS 22.0 for Windows package program. In order to determine the relationship between positive management approach and school success, simple regression analysis was applied. The responses of the subjects to the statements were evaluated according to their significance level of 0.05. In order to determine the distribution of the research group according to personal and professional variables, frequency and percentage calculations were made. Correlation analysis was performed between regression and dimensions between positive management score and achievement scores and p <0.05 was accepted. School administrators and teachers; ability, positive thinking, patience, self-confidence, problem solving. To know the individual characteristics of the students, to trust the students, to understand the fair management in the school forgiving and tolerant towards the students, students' appreciation of their success, hopeful future, productive, open to development, social responsibility awareness was found to increase the success of the school. According to the findings of the research, it was seen that the rate of schooling was higher in the schools where the school administrators who adopted the school by adopting a positive management approach.
