Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between mental endurance and self-efficacy levels of orthopedically disabled athletes. Athletes of amputee football teams and sitting volleyball teams (88 male athletes and 14 female athletes in total 102 athletes) participated in our study. Relational survey model, one of the general survey models, was used in our research. In this research, the information created by the researcher in line with the purpose of the research, seven questions (gender, age, disability, sports branch, year of doing sports, level of sportsmanship, education level), Personal Information Form, Mental Endurance Scale (MES) and Self-Efficacy Scale (SES) was obtained with In the analysis of the data obtained, SPSS 22.0 statistical program was used, the Mann Whitney-U test was used in the distribution of the data and pairwise group comparisons, and the Kruskall Wallis H test was used in the comparison of more than two groups. According to the results of our research, a moderately positive relationship was found between the self-efficacy and mental endurance levels of orthopedically disabled athletes, and the relationship between them was found to be statistically significant.
