Abstract (EN)

Throughout history, orientalism has been in a struggle with the East due to political, religious and ideological concerns, and its meaning and activities in the process have changed in this direction. The West, whose efforts in other fields were not enough to dominate the East, subjected Islam to criticism on many issues such as its beliefs, worship and history, with its scientific (!) activities under the name of orientalism. He made an effort to misrepresent this religion with the studies he carried out with methods that did not comply with the pre-acceptance, academic and scientific style, and he tried to turn the East-West struggle in his favor with his studies in the dimension of slander. The aim of this study is to understand the intentions of orientalists based on the history of orientalism and the studies they have done, and to try to respond to their criticisms with Qur'anic and logical proofs, on the contrary, with an objective and scientific style. The non-scientific methods such as the sources that orientalists use while proving their claims, their perspectives on events, and their inclusion of weak narrations as precise information show that their aim is not science but an effort to justify their own thoughts shows.
