Historical character construction in Osmancık, Küçük Ağa ve Firavun İmani

Historical character construction in Tarık Buğra's novels of Osmancık, Küçük Ağa and Firavun İmanı is the subject of the master's thesis. The purpose of this master thesis is to detect the similarities between the novel personalities that the author adressed and their historical personalities, the differences between the people in the fiction and their historical realities and how much the fiction is based on history. These findings especially deal with the changes of novel people such as Osmancık, Küçük Ağa, Çolak Salih and it is aimed to determine the places of people, events, places and symbols affecting these changes in fiction and history. As a result of the study, it was seen that the people in the novel were sometimes in harmony with the historical reality and sometimes the persons who were in the fiction were the ones created in the author's own imagination rather than the historical personalities.
