Investigation comparatively of some ecological properties of peanuts and its soils among Osmaniye districts

In this study, some ecological characteristics of the peanut soil sampled in two different periods (February 2017 and September 2017) and only peanuts collected in September 2017 from Sumbas, Kadirli, Merkez, Düziçi and Toprakkale districts in Osmaniye were evaluated comparatively among these districts.The contents of saturation %, pH,CaCO3%,EC%in all district soils were close to each other and the only difference among these soilswas in the lime content thatKadirli soil was statistically higher than Düziçi and Toprakkale districts (P< 0.05).When the content ofC%, N%, K (ppm) and P (ppm) of district soils were compared bothamong the districts and February 2017 or September 2017, there was not statistically significant difference in C, N and K values (P> 0.05). P content (15.9 ppm) of Düziçi in September 2017 was significantly higher than the other districts and sampling time (P<0.05).While N contents (2.93% and 2.60%, respectively) of Sumbas and Kadirli peanuts were statistically lower than Düziçi peanuts (4.70%, P< 0.05), there were not significant difference between the N contentsof Düziçi and Merkez or Toprakkale peanuts (P> 0.05).The contents (ppm) of K, Mg and Ca did not significantly differ among all disticts (P> 0.05).In the light of all these findings, peanut soil cultivated in Osmaniye [C%, N%, K (ppm) and P (ppm)] and grain samples [C%, N%, K (ppm), Na (ppm), Mg ( ppm) and Ca (ppm)] showed that nutrient content did not differ between districts.
