The 31 March Incident is a political movement occurred at the beginning of the Second Constitutional Period. The consequences of this incident would affect the composition of the next period. The Ottoman Press also takes part in the events and they take sides in these events. Especially some of the writers in newspapers explicitly support the rebel soldiers. However, with the arrival of the Army of Action the press completely changes direction and starts to blame the rebel soldiers.
