Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is; it is the study of the current situation of some works in the context of writing education in Ottoman-era elementary schools and the textbook of composition (literary composition and essay) and the evaluation of its relationship to modern-day writing education. The research was patterned by multiple state studies intertwined from qualitative research methods. The collection of the data in the research was carried out by the researcher through the search of the bracelets of the books of masterpiece and propulsion in libraries and after the detection of the relevant works were delivered electronically. The study used document review and descriptive analysis from qualitative research techniques and analysis of data on purposeful sampling prepared to be studied within the scope of the writing course in Ottoman primary schools. As a result of the research, the Ottoman primary schools were taught as a separate course in writing, writing training is primarily initiated with impromptu speech applications and verbal expression is used as key to written expression, at each grade level, the same subjects are processed with the adoption of the easy-to-hard principle but the subjects addressed are taught in greater detail in proportion to the grade level, how, why, why questions are important in detailing the subjects taught, the basic rule of writing lessons has been found to be the adoption of the idea of ensuring freedom. Partially using the product-based approach as well as the process-based approach in writing training, motivated writing, where stages of the planned writing process are included in the writing training, controlled writing, taking notes, filling in blanks, writing in motion from a text, today's writing methods and techniques, such as writing from a picture in motion, recreating a text with their own sentences, are exploited, it has been found that unlike today in writing, the plan is used.
