Abstract (EN)

The Ottoman Empire has become an empire by growing over time from hackneyed. In this, it has also a great effect of acquisition of the lands besides the policies that have been implemented. In addition to the acquisition of Cimpor Castle, annexation Gallipoli and Thrace by the Ottoman Empire has stepped up the power and position of the Empire. Nowadays the lands of Thrace region within the boundaries of Turkey is called "Eastern Thrace". The Ottoman Empire first completed the conquest of this region after that it shifted to the Balkans. Tekirdag and Kesan, the subject of the thesis, are located in the area known as Eastern Thrace. These two cities are the places the territory which the Ottoman Empire first conquered within Eastern Thrace. In this study, we have firstly discussed about region of Eastern Thrace where the cities are located. We tried to mention about the state of Tekirdag and Kesan in 1456-1556 which refered to as " Classical Period" in the years of between 1300 and 1600.
