Madrasa tradition and theology in Ottoman

The word of kalam is an important science that deals with the main issues of the Islamic creed. Many studies have been carried out since the first semester in order to learn this science. The existence of a systematic and regular training activity is very important for these studies to be more efficient. The madrasahs established for this purpose are the most important and unique educational institutions of Islamic civilization, where the activities of science are best done. A systematic and regular vocational education in madrasahs is extremely important for the development of Islamic civilization. The madrasah tradition that started with the Nizamiye experience has attained a full-fledged spot in the Ottoman Empire and continued its effectiveness. Ottoman madrasas continued the accumulation of Islamic thought throughout history. It is seen that it has a fully established tradition with the Fatih period. In the same period, it was made compulsory to teach kalam lessons in madrasahs for the first time. This situation is an important development in terms of theology. Because now it means that kalam education will be done officially and with the support of the state. The fact that the philosophical kalam period turned into a dominant mentality coincides with this period. Undoubtedly, this is an important development in terms of theology in the madrasa tradition originating in Islamic law. Kalam works taught in Ottoman madrasahs have been copyrighted by Eş'ari kalam scholars who lived outside Anatolia and belong to Razi line. Both the popularity of these copyrighted works, as well as annotations, insects and similar studies on these works point to the existence of an intense theoretical activity. The books taught in the madrasahs in the Ottoman Empire were these copyrighted works and the pests and annotations made to them. By focusing on these works, our study will be directed to give information about the course of kalam thought, studies about kalam and the works of kalam, which are widely taught in madrasahs.
