Özet (EN)

Turkism has been a tendency to defend the homeland from an intellectual movement in the historical course of Turkishness, and an understanding transformed from thought. Emerging in a project to prevent its invasion as more of a tool, it is also a dominant actor in the ideas of first generation Turkists in the Ottoman Empire, such as Ziya Gökalp and Yusuf Akçura. II. There was a movement in which he assumed the role of defender of the Committee of Union and Progress, which left its mark on the Second Constitutional Era. It has been an understanding that fueled the fire of the cause and inspired discussion in the national struggle. This understanding formed the head of the political and military movements of Atatürk, who was the commander of the War of Independence. It is a driving force in the victory of the National Struggle and a cornerstone of the Republic of Turkey. Turkism formed the purpose of formation of associations and associations established in the Young Republic period, and became a source of inspiration for the theses and theories put forward to reveal the deep past of Turkishness. In this study, the effects of the post-Ottoman Turkism Movement on Turkey's domestic political developments during the Atatürk period were tried to be explained through the theory of ethno-symbolism, and the relation of the institutions, organizations and formations established in this way with the theory was examined within the framework of the hypothesis.
