Abstract (EN)

The significant higher value of NFκB in the osteoporotic fracture groupindicated the inflamatuar osteolysis in this disorder. The process of inflamation was shwon in both disorders in the literatur, but our study showed that the inflamatuar osteolysis was statistically significantly higherin the osteoporotic fracture group. Based on this, by slowing down the inflamation process shown in the osteoporosis, bone destruction can be avoided. The apoptosis shown by the significantly higher caspase values was another pathological process found in osteoporotic fracture group in our study. The significantly higher values of decorin in osteoarthritic group showedthe effect of decorin by both the proinflamatuar and by affecting osteoblasts number in subchondral bone, causing osteoarthritis.Decorin's production may be induced by chondrocytes to repair the extracelullar matrix damage caused by osteoarthritis, showing a protective effect. The lower value of decorin in osteoporosis indicated that collagen structure was affected in this disorder. Subchondral bone osteoporosis indicated the cartilage damage adjacent, that may lead to osteoarthritis. This result indicated that osteoporosis may facilitate the arise of osteoarthritis.
