Convenience of the universal leadership approaches in the view of business administrations and determining its acceptibility levels: A practice related to the sub and middle level administrators in hilton hotels

In the first part of this study, it is tried to give information about businessadministration concept, the characteristics of business administrations, the types ofmanagement in business administrations, the differences between the manager andthe leader and types of leadership under the name of a general look on the businessadministrations. Besides, information about the development and concept ofmanagement, the description of a manager, primary facilities that provide amanager?s efficiency, accomplishments that a manager must have and characteristicsof a manager will be given.In the second part, universal leadership approaches, inother words; characteristic approach, behavioral approach, situational approach andcontemporary approach are tried to be explained, the information about theconvenience and acceptability level of universal leadership approaches are tried to begiven.In the third and the last part, on determining the levels of the acceptability andconvenience of universal leadership approaches in the view of businessadministration, the results and evaluations of a research about the sub and middleadministrators in Hilton Hotels take place.We can say that among the universal leadership approaches, the most suitableone for the business administrations is behavioral approach. Because the main pointin behavioral approach is what a leader does and how he/she behaves the peoplearound him/her. It is already seen that in the results of the surveys this approach hasalso been found the most suitable. In industrial administrations this situation maycreate some differences but from my point of view the theory of behavioral approachcan be used as the most suitable theory for business administrations.
