Abstract (EN)

One of the basic deficiencies among autistic children is symbolic thinking deficiency. When this insufficiency of understanding of symbolic and abstract notions taken into consderation, realizing the similarities and differences between objects, compherend the whole consisting of parts, to complete the missing part of a pattern. When the relationships between the objects are constructed a kind of intellectual activities occur which is called matching and sorting. This study is supposed to determine the design criteria in terms of product-user relationship of autistic children with educational materials directed to matching skills. A traditonal material directed to this skills and a technological one- an application running in tablet computer with a similar difficulty level are compared. The time of interaction occuring between users and products are monitored and the design criteria in terms of product-user relationship of autistic children with educational materials directed to matching skills are determined.
