Abstract (EN)
The central concern of this thesis is to analyze the trilogy (My Childhood, In The World, My Universities) of Maxim Gorky, the proclaimed founder of the social realist movement in Russian literature, in the aspect of autobiography. This study aims to evaluate the autobiography researches in aspects of self-concept and self-creation and the process of writing as a whole. In fact, the art of autobiography is seen as a phantasy in the examinations that put the lives together and create a story. In this sense, M. Gorky, a representative of the autobiography art that expresses the relationship between life and expression and the process of representing each other temporarily and spatially, is mentioned as the texts in which the voice is written. The concept of self and the art of autobiography were examined prior to the examination of the work to be done on the axis of autobiography. Besides these, the art of autobiography has been titled as it is accepted as part of literature continuously and this genre's artistic features have been explained in aspects of writer-work with examples of different text genres. In addition, the art of autobiography, which is accepted as a permanent element of literature, is categorized as a literary genre and the artistic features of this genre are explained with examples of different text types on the author-text axis. Examination of biographical texts can be evaluated through the information that is directly related to the life of the author. In this sense, M. Gorky's sources of the chronological life and studies of the researchers investigating the author of the study of the author of the trilogy of his work revealed that the author, as well as the author's own voice, made his work is concluded that an autobiographical expression was created.
