vAUTOMATIC TEST EQUIPMENT TESTINGPROCESS OF AVIONIC(M.Sc.Thesis)Nihat KARABULUTGAZ UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECNOLOGYFebruary 2007ABSTRACTIn this study, The Automated Test Equipments (ATE) which are used inthe testing process of aircraft avionics have been investigated and anATE, which can carry out the operability controls of a Throttle Grip Unit, has been designed and tested. At first, the technical properties of an ATE and detailed informationabout the way that will be followed during the design process has beengiven, second under the scope of the application, the Throttle Grip Unithas been choosen as an example and an hardware which will be usedduring the test process, has been designed. In the test system whichhas been designed, a test program, which consists of simple menusthat will help the users visually, has been constructed by using DelphiProgramming Language. The test program indicates the problems, which are faced after the testing process, on the screen and providesthe user an opportunity to overcome them in a rapid way.Science Code : 905.1.034Key Words : Automatic Test Equipment, Test Program SetPage Number : 69Adviser : Dr. Nursel AKÇAM
